The Coleman Headwall is one of the most impressive features in the North Cascades. Like an icy Sentinel, it stands guard over the north side of Mount Baker. From the edge of the glacier, The Coleman Headwall rises over 2000 feet directly to the summit. Depending on the season, route conditions can range from steep snow to endless pitches of ice. Crevasses and bergschrunds add to the challenge.
Baker Mountain Guides proudly offers an exceptional experience on the Coleman Headwall. Our intimate local knowledge of the route and current conditions allows us to confidently craft custom adventures for our clientele.
